Carmen is a veteran in the field of physical therapy. She has training as a Strain-Counter-Strain Specialist. Carmen is also a Certified Lymphedema Specialist. She decided on becoming a Physical Therapist after finishing 2 years of medical school, and has enjoyed it ever since. She has worked in different settings such as hospitals (acute and outpatient care), nursing homes and home health care. During this time, she has had the opportunity to work with a variety of patients including famous athletes. Carmen graduated from a prestigious school in the Philippines with a Bachelors of Science in Biology and a BS in Physical Therapy. Rommel Yu, PT
Physical therapist
Rommel is a trained Strain-Counter-Strain specialist. Rommel has over 30 years of experience in acute care, home health, sub-acute, out-patient therapy and highly skilled in Manual Therapy. He has been a lead Therapist for a prestigious national company for more than 8 years before settling down in Florida and has extensive management experience. Spent 8 years at a local hospital, working the last 9 years at the hospital’s out-patient facility before joining Pro-Motion PT. Rommel has a BS in Physical Therapy. He loves to watch movies, read and play computer games. He also enjoys time with his family. What he likes about Pro - Motion is offering personalized care. We value privacy and do not have a typical gym atmosphere. Our staff are very pleasant, well-trained, and treat each other like family. Each of our professional staff have their own specialty.
Demi Yiannapolous, PTA
Physical therapist assistant
Demi is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant and Certified Lymphedema Therapist. She has spent the last 18 years building her manual therapy skills as a licensed massage therapist working for local healthcare providers across Volusia and Flagler counties. Demi graduated from Daytona State College from the Physical Therapist Assistant Program. She has a Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of Central Florida as well as an AS in Massage Therapy from Heritage University in Jacksonville, Florida. She obtained her lymphedema education and certification as a CLT from the prestigious Academy of Lymphatic Studies (ACOLS) January of 2022. Demi enjoys spending time with her large extended family and K-9 son, Jax. She is most proud of her ability to create a fun and individualized PT experience.
Maisie Florio

Mai was born in Panglao Philippines and came to America at the age of 28. She obtained her Bachelor degree in computer technologies. She lead a team as an office director to large corporate chains of cell phones and coffee shops. When Mai relocated to port Orange, she attended International hair academy, receiving an esthetician’s license before starting at Pro-motion Physical Therapy as the Admin. assistant/receptionist. Mai is planning to continue her education in medical coding & billing. She enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her loving husband. I enjoy and love interacting with our patients. They aren’t just our patients, they become family.
